The IWM-MB3 is an integrated wired M-BUS module designed for water consumption monitoring and fraud detection. It is compatible with the following water meter models:

  • GMDM-I (Multi-jet)
  • GMB-I (Multi-jet)
  • GMB-RP-I (Multi-jet)
  • CPR-M3-I (Single-jet)

  1. Data Transmission:

    • Transmits consumption data via an M-BUS network cable.
    • Provides real-time consumption data and alarm reporting.

  2. Leak and Fraud Detection:

    • Detects water leaks downstream of the meter.
    • Identifies prolonged operation at maximum flow rate (Q4).
    • Monitors attempts of fraud (module removal, reverse flow, and external magnetic interference).

  3. Vibration Immunity:

    • Utilizes an inductive target in the meter dial for vibration immunity.
    • Prevents magnetic fraud.

  4. Compatibility:

    • Supports dry, semi-dry, and wet dial jet meters.

  5. Protection:

    • IP68 rating ensures functionality in harsh environments.

  6. Ease of Installation and Setup:

    • Simple setup and configuration through a smartphone app using NFC interface.
