When using the 300 Series pump for pumping gasoline, it's important to note that this high-flow pump can sometimes experience vapor lock issues in very hot weather due to the nature of gasoline, which vaporizes at lower temperatures compared to other fuels. Vapor lock can cause interruptions in the pumping process as the fuel becomes vaporized and creates air pockets in the system, reducing flow and efficiency.

If you're operating in hot climates or expect consistently high temperatures, it is recommended to consider the 700 Series models. The 700 Series is designed to handle gasoline more efficiently in high-temperature environments, reducing the likelihood of vapor lock and ensuring more reliable performance in extreme conditions. These models are better suited for applications where high-flow pumping and stable operation are crucial, even in warmer temperatures.
