SAMPI RVP pumps are versatile, self-priming rotary vane pumps specifically designed for handling fuels, light petroleum products, and flammable liquids. Their design and functionality make them suitable for both mobile and stationary applications.
  • Self-Priming Rotary Vane Design:

    • The pump operates using a rotor rotating inside a cam that is eccentrically machined in reference to the rotor. This causes the vanes to slide in and out as the rotor turns, helping to move the liquid forward.
  • Low Friction Vanes:

    • Made from sophisticated polymers with very low friction coefficients, the vanes contribute to better pump efficiency and longer lifespan by self-adjusting to wear.
  • Inbuilt By-Pass Valve:

    • The pump features a built-in by-pass valve that protects both the pump and the system from overpressure situations.
  • Energy Efficient:

    • SAMPI RVP pumps require less horsepower compared to other pumps of similar size, making them energy efficient.
  • Durability:

    • The self-adjusting vanes allow for extended service life by compensating for wear.

1. Mobile Systems (Road Tankers):

  • Direct Drive: Powered by the truck’s PTO (Power Take-Off) through a cardan joint.
  • Hydraulic Motor Drive: The pump can be driven using a hydraulic motor with an adaptor.
  • Diesel Engine Drive: Pumping set with a diesel engine and a mounting plate that can be fixed on the truck chassis.

2. Stationary Systems (Terminal, Bulk Plants, Dispensing Points):

  • Electric Motor Drive: The pump can be driven by electric motors using a belt and pulley or gearbox.
  • High Flow Dispensers: Designed with electric motors, rubber hoses, nozzles, and hose reels for long-distance dispensing.
  • Marine and Aviation Refueling: Also suitable for use in marine and aviation fueling systems.
  1. Safety Features:
    • RVP pumps can be supplied in an ATEX II 2 G version (suitable for Zone 1), which makes them safe for use in potentially explosive environments.
