The Scully Ground Bolt is an integral component of the Scully Groundhog™ system, offering intelligent monitoring and automatic verification for vehicle static grounding. It works with Scully Intellitrol or ST-47 Groundhog systems to create a self-proving grounding mechanism, ensuring safety during vehicle loading operations.

  • Self-Proving Grounding: The system automatically verifies that the vehicle is properly grounded before any loading operation begins, with no need for manual checks.
  • Vehicle Grounding Integrity: The Groundhog™ system ensures the integrity of the loading process by continuously verifying the grounding throughout the operation.
  • Independent System Usage: The system can be used independently, ideal for applications where no Scully Overfill Prevention System is in place (e.g., top loading operations).
  • Quick Release Connection: The controller connects to a Sculcon® junction box, which has a heavy-duty cable with a quick-release snap-on plug, allowing for efficient connections.
  • Electronic Ground Ball: The specially designed Scully Ground Ball is mounted on each vehicle, and it works in conjunction with the control monitor to verify the ground signal.
  • Continuous Verification: The system ensures that the grounding status is continuously verified during the entire loading operation, preventing any unsafe procedures.
