Scully Overfill Prevention Sensors are designed for safe and reliable overfill protection in single-compartment tank vehicles, rail cars, and hazardous liquid transport systems. Compatible with Scully ST-15 control monitors featuring Dynacheck® circuitry, these sensors continuously monitor for faults or wet conditions, ensuring safe loading operations. Built with durable materials like aluminum, stainless steel, Viton®, and Pyrex® glass, they are available for both heated and unheated liquids. With adjustable clamps for flexible sensing levels and intrinsically safe certifications for hazardous locations, these sensors deliver precision, safety, and compliance in demanding environments.

  • Usage:
    Designed for overfill prevention in single-compartment tank vehicles, rail cars, and hazardous liquid tank vehicles.
  • Compatibility:
    Must be used with Scully ST-15 control monitors, which feature Dynacheck® circuitry that continuously checks for faults 30 times per second.
  • Functionality:
    • Prevents loading if the sensor detects a fault or wet condition.
    • Adjustable clamps or couplings allow setting the sensing level.
    • Suitable for heated and unheated liquids depending on the model.

  • Intrinsically Safe Design:
    • Approved for Class I, Division 1, Group D Hazardous Locations.
    • Must be connected to Scully monitors with intrinsically safe outputs to prevent sparks.
  • FMC Approval: Certified for hazardous locations when properly paired with Scully monitors.
  • Adjustable Clamps or Couplings: Allow customization of sensing levels.
  • Detachable Cables: Ideal for applications where cables need to be removed and stored when not in use.
  • Material Options: Aluminum or Stainless Steel options for varying environmental conditions.
  • Mounting: Insert the sensor into the tank compartment, secure it with the adjustable clamp or coupling to set the desired fill level.
  • Connection: Ensure proper wiring to the Scully ST-15 monitor for Dynacheck® fault monitoring.
