The Scully Truck Identification Module® (T.I.M.®) provides an advanced identification system designed to enhance the efficiency and safety of fuel loading operations. It integrates seamlessly with the Vehicle Identification Prover® (V.I.P.®) system and Intellitrol® control units, enabling automated communication between trucks and loading terminals.

  • Rapid Installation: Quickly installs into existing override prevention sockets.

  • Automated Authorization: Identifies trucks upon arrival at the terminal and streamlines the loading approval process.

  • Seamless Integration: Uses the rack's existing plug and wiring for single-connection communication.

  • Enhanced Safety: Works with Scully tank overfill prevention systems and vehicle static grounding controls to ensure secure operations.

  1. As the tank truck pulls into the loading bay, the overfill prevention plug connects to the socket.

  2. The Scully Intellitrol or V.I.P. control unit reads the T.I.M.’s unique serial number.

  3. The system verifies:

    • T.I.M.’s serial number.

    • Overfill sensor status.

    • Grounding status.

  4. If all safety checks pass, the truck is approved for loading.

  • Temperature Range: -40° to +140° F (-40° to +60° C)

  • Material Composition: Epoxy encapsulated for durability and protection.

  • Dimensions: Refer to attached diagram.

  • Certifications and Approvals:

    • Factory Mutual (FM) approved.
