The model RLT-3000 level sensor with temperature output combines the measurement of liquid level and temperature into a single, compact device. Constructed with high-quality stainless steel, it ensures compatibility with a variety of media, including oil, water, diesel, refrigerants, and other liquids.

The sensor utilizes a float-based measuring principle. A permanent magnet within the float interacts with the resistance measuring chain inside the guide tube, generating a proportional 4 ... 20 mA current output for level measurement. For temperature monitoring, the sensor incorporates a platinum measuring resistor (Pt100 or Pt1000) at the end of the guide tube, providing high-accuracy measurements conforming to Class B standards.

Additionally, the model RLT-3000 offers optional dual 4 ... 20 mA analogue outputs to enable enhanced monitoring and control capabilities.

Description

The model FLRU level transmitter with reed-chain technology in combination with the WIKA model NETRIS®3 radio unit is used wherever web-based remote monitoring of level measurement in liquid media is desired. Condition-based and preventive maintenance through centralised big data analysis is thus possible.

Level transmitters of this model series work on the floatprinciple with magnetic transmission and are used wherever centralised, web-based remote monitoring is required.The float's magnetic system in the guide tube actuates aresistance measuring chain that corresponds to a 3-wire potentiometer circuit.

The measurement voltage generated by this is proportional to the fill level.The measurement voltage is very finely stepped due to the contact separation of the measuring chain and is thus virtually continuous. Depending on the requirements, several different contact separations are available.
