WIKA flow switches are designed for the display and monitoring of liquid and gaseous media flow. These instruments offer high switching precision, low switch hysteresis, and functional safety to ensure reliable performance.
The model FSM-6100 electromechanical flow switch is designed to detect interruptions in flow (“no flow”) of water and other non-corrosive liquids within industrial pipelines. It is ideal for use in industrial coolers, heaters, and similar systems, providing reliable monitoring to prevent operational failures.
By signaling flow interruptions, the FSM-6100 helps protect systems against issues such as ice formation caused by the absence of cooling water.
Housed in a durable plastic casing, the FSM-6100 offers ingress protection rated at IP30, safeguarding it against the entry of foreign particles. Equipped with UL-listed microswitches and protective bellows, this flow switch ensures consistent performance, high durability, and a long operational life.
With compatibility for pipe sizes ranging from 25 to 150 mm (1 to 6 inches), the FSM-6100 supports a wide variety of applications involving non-critical media.
High Accuracy: Switch point repeatability of ±0.5% for precise and reliable switching performance.
Durability: High-quality bellows and microswitch components provide a service life exceeding 500,000 cycles.
Robust Construction: Stainless steel rigid paddles withstand pressure surges and high medium temperatures.
Versatility: Suitable for different pipe sizes (25 to 150 mm) and a variety of non-corrosive liquid media.
HVAC Systems: Heating, cooling, air-conditioning, and water treatment plants.
Pumps and Dosing Systems: Ensures proper operation and avoids system failures caused by insufficient water or liquid supply.
Operational Control Systems: Prevents damage caused by interruptions in flow, protecting against scenarios such as ice formation due to lack of cooling water.
The FSD-4 Electronic Flow Switch is a versatile and precise device designed for monitoring and controlling the flow of liquid media. Based on a calorimetric principle, it offers wear-free flow monitoring, ensuring reliable performance over time. The FSD-4 is highly configurable and can be easily adjusted to meet the specific requirements of different applications. It features simple 3-button operation for configuration, and can also be set up via IO-Link 1.1 for added flexibility. The flow switch is capable of outputting both absolute and relative flow values and offers real-time temperature monitoring as well.
This flow switch's adaptability and configurability make it ideal for use in industries requiring precise liquid flow and temperature monitoring, such as manufacturing, automation, and cooling systems.
The FSFD Flow Switch is designed to detect water flow in wet sprinkler systems after the sprinkler is triggered. It features a pneumatic time delay mechanism, which can be adjusted between 0 and 70 seconds, using an adjustment dial to prevent false alarms caused by water surges. The flow switch is equipped with tamper-proof screws that ensure the switch point setting remains secure. Its robust construction, with an IP56/NEMA4 rating for ingress protection, makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. The device is ideal for pipe sizes ranging from 2" to 8", catering to various pipe schedules commonly found in construction projects. Additionally, the FSFD provides enhanced sensitivity and repeatability for switch point accuracy and is UL and FM certified, ensuring reliable performance and safety.
