The model FSM-6100 electromechanical flow switch is designed to detect interruptions in flow (“no flow”) of water and other non-corrosive liquids within industrial pipelines. It is ideal for use in industrial coolers, heaters, and similar systems, providing reliable monitoring to prevent operational failures.

By signaling flow interruptions, the FSM-6100 helps protect systems against issues such as ice formation caused by the absence of cooling water.

Housed in a durable plastic casing, the FSM-6100 offers ingress protection rated at IP30, safeguarding it against the entry of foreign particles. Equipped with UL-listed microswitches and protective bellows, this flow switch ensures consistent performance, high durability, and a long operational life.

With compatibility for pipe sizes ranging from 25 to 150 mm (1 to 6 inches), the FSM-6100 supports a wide variety of applications involving non-critical media.

Special Features
  • High Accuracy: Switch point repeatability of ±0.5% for precise and reliable switching performance.

  • Durability: High-quality bellows and microswitch components provide a service life exceeding 500,000 cycles.

  • Robust Construction: Stainless steel rigid paddles withstand pressure surges and high medium temperatures.

  • Versatility: Suitable for different pipe sizes (25 to 150 mm) and a variety of non-corrosive liquid media.

Applications
  • HVAC Systems: Heating, cooling, air-conditioning, and water treatment plants.

  • Pumps and Dosing Systems: Ensures proper operation and avoids system failures caused by insufficient water or liquid supply.

  • Operational Control Systems: Prevents damage caused by interruptions in flow, protecting against scenarios such as ice formation due to lack of cooling water.

The FSD-4 Electronic Flow Switch is a versatile and precise device designed for monitoring and controlling the flow of liquid media.
