WIKA Sight Glass Level Gauges offer reliable and continuous level monitoring without requiring external power. The key components include:
These gauges are ideal for industrial applications requiring robust and direct level measurement solutions, even in demanding conditions.
Glass level gauges are precision instruments designed for the continuous monitoring and indication of liquid levels in tanks and vessels. The core component is the gauge body, which houses the liquid channel and, if required, a heating channel. It also includes seating faces for chambered seals and sight glasses. Integrated or mounted valve heads and process connections facilitate easy installation and maintenance, with options for drainage and venting.
The glasses and mica shields are securely fastened using U-bolts and covers or pressure frames, ensuring robust sealing. High-quality borosilicate glass, compliant with DIN 7081 standards, is employed for excellent thermal and chemical resistance. For steam applications, the glasses support temperatures up to 243 °C, while mica designs can handle up to 300 °C. In specific cases, temperatures up to 374 °C are achievable with mica protection.
